Have you been looking for a village like environment, a safe place to explore the joys and concerns that you have as you enter into the sacred realm of motherhood. Motherhood is a developmental journey that grows along side the development of your child/children and that of your spouse. The developmental journey that you went on in your own family, and your awareness of it will paint/shadow your development as a mother. As women we are designed to gather with other women, share our joys and concerns and learn from village like relationships.
My name is Janelle October and throughout my journey I have had many opportunities to engage in the development of children and their families, as a pre-school teacher, school-based counselor, developmental interventionist using the DIR model of Floortime by Greenspan, Intern Marriage and Family therapist working with parents, individuals, groups and children.
