My name is Yvette Flores, LMFT

I graduated from Pacific Oaks College in 2012 with a M.A in Human development and in 2016 with a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy.  I dedicated over 30 years to zero to five in many roles. I primarily focused on infant and toddler development, as an early interventionist and trainer with UCDAVIS.   I have 22 years of experiences teaching college courses. The courses I teach are Child Development. I enjoy educating students on childhood trauma, mental health , attachment and early brain development.

I am an author of a book “Relational Aggression and its Negative Affects on Young Girls.”  Raising girls that suffered bullying from their female classmates encouraged me to write and publish this book. Through interviewing girls ages 5-18,  I realized that bullying and cyber bullying was a huge  epidemic and this encouraged me to return to school to become a therapist.

I am a trauma informed therapist. I specialize in Anxiety, PTSD, depression , parenting, school issues, teens, bullying, self-esteem issues.  I also love working with the 65 and over population.

My main modality is EMDR! I am invested in this form of therapy .  I use EMDR with most of my clients. I have seen amazing transformations. I am so grateful to be able to provide this form of healing to my clients.
