About
You are welcome here! Let's figure out solutions together.
I am a compassionate individual that understands how uncomfortable it can be to ask for help. It can be especially hard if you are typically someone that takes care of everyone and everything around you first and then are left at the end of the day feeling overwhelmed and with nothing left to give. I am here to tell you that- you matter and it is okay to take care of yourself too. I am here to sit across from you and create a safe place for you to express yourself without the fear of being judged. I take a person-centered approach in treatment and allow you to choose what you would like to explore in sessions. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help you gain awareness of how our thoughts impact our emotions and behaviors. I have over 8 years of experience in working with young children, adolescents, and adults.I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues/ stress, and trauma. I am trained in Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey to mental wellness.
