“Your own positive future begins in this moment. All you have is right now. Every goal is possible from here.” ~ Lao Tzu

My theoretical framework and approach to counseling is rooted in aspects of systems theory, psychodynamic theory, and attachment theory. I utilize an array of modalities when providing individual counseling that focus on the connection between mind, body and spirit including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). When working with couples I also include aspects of Emotionally Focused Therapy and The Gottman Method.
