About
Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are gives us all the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people. - Fred Rogers
I am a neurodiverse (ADHD), bi-cultural, millennial therapist that helps clients navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, and relationship stress. I offer therapy for individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or burned out. I use humor, compassion, and a down-to-earth approach to help you better understand yourself, build resiliency, and create meaningful connections. Through interpersonal therapy and attachment-based techniques, I focus on creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment or shame. Whether you're navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, identity formation, or family stress, therapy can be a place to feel seen, supported, and soothed.
I welcome clients of all identities. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally inclusive.
My upbringing has provided me with a unique perspective to help my clients as they navigate the complexities of identity, belonging, and mental health in today’s world. So much of my experience is based on my own journey. I am neurodiverse (ADHD) but not diagnosed until I was well into adulthood. I was raised culturally Catholic but I have not attended church services in well over a decade. I am bi-cultural, Mexican and white, and have often struggled to feel fully rooted in either as a white passing descendent of immigrants. All of this allows me to connect deeply with other neurodivergent adults, culturally diverse individuals, and those deconstructing inherited belief systems.
I am a wife, mother, voracious reader, and lover of The Great British Baking Show, although I do miss Mel and Sue. My music tastes range from Yellowcard to musicals to Noah Kahan. I rewatch The Princess Bride every spring, binge Scrubs at least once a year, and my favorite books are The Night Circus and The House of the Spirits.
As a therapist, I am honored to be a part of your story. I hope that together, with humor and curiosity, we can help you move through this difficult season.
