Emotions are like waves—they can be calm, rough, choppy, or gentle with ripples. At times, they may feel overwhelming and out of control, like a stormy ocean. But, just like the ocean, those emotions can return to a place of calm.
My approach to therapy is holistic—addressing the mind, body, and soul. I believe that your physical, mental, and emotional well-being are deeply interconnected. I meet you where you are emotionally, beginning with what you feel ready to share and explore. My style is interactive and adaptable, combining active dialogue with deep listening. Everyone’s journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to fit you.
My name is Kilsis, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, couples, and families in both residential treatment and outpatient settings. I have also supported individuals with chronic medical conditions, guiding them through emotional challenges.
I'm trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP). I also utilized mindfulness.
