About

You deserve a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, and asking for help takes courage. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where individuals and families feel comfortable exploring their experiences and working toward meaningful change.
I have a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and family conflict. With over seven years of experience in community mental health and private practice settings, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including at-risk youth, families experiencing homelessness, and individuals facing significant life stressors.
When working with children, I incorporate play therapy techniques to create a safe and comfortable space where they can communicate and express themselves in ways that feel natural. Through play and creative expression, children are often able to process emotions and experiences that may otherwise be difficult to put into words.
With adolescents and adults, I take a holistic, strength-based approach and often integrate principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also respect and incorporate faith-based values when it is meaningful to the client, recognizing that spirituality can be an important source of strength and healing.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services and my Master of Science in Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from California State University, Los Angeles in 2016. My professional goal is to continue fostering a therapeutic environment that encourages growth, self-understanding, and healing. I believe that within a supportive therapeutic relationship, individuals can build resilience, develop healthier coping skills, and create lasting positive change in their lives.
