I have worked with co-occurring disorders for over 11 years and find my straight-forward and non-judgmental approach helps those with mental health and addiction issues build strength to meet their goals.
My name is Tawnny Haymond and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of California, Texas, and Montana. Since the beginning of my clinical work in 2009, I have worked with a vast array of populations including rape crisis/sexual assault counseling, family therapy through the Department of Children and Family services, couples counseling, children and adults with special needs, trauma, OCD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and addiction to name a few. I have worked with Veterans and first responders as I am well versed in the rigors and stressors that come along with these professions as I have experienced them firsthand within my personal life. One of my main areas of expertise is treating those suffering from addiction of any kind. I primarily work from a Cognitive Behavioral approach; however, I will utilize other modalities and techniques that will assist me in helping those achieve their desired outcomes.
