About
Come, as you are.
Every person comes with their own personal experiences, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With each person, there are parts of them that has brought them to where they are today. I believe that it is the whole, biopsychosocial, component of the individual that deserves attention, love, compassion, worthiness, and grace. Are you a child who is experiencing distress related to perpetual changes associated with the pandemic? Do you find yourself worrying uncontrollably about life's circumstances? Are you a teen who struggles with identity and the pressures of others? Are you a young adult who wants to learn how to manage the overwhelming pressure of being independent? Are you an individual who has been holding onto emotional disturbances for years, and are wanting to better understand the parts of your past that continue to impact your life today? Are you an older adult who is looking back on their life and learning to find acceptance for your journey? There is so much to manage every day, and I invite you to come and talk with me about your journey. Through talk therapy and trauma-focused therapy through EMDR, I am here to support you, empathize with you, challenge you, and walk with you through the journey of confronting the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that have impacted your life. I am here to assist you in developing an understanding about the challenges you have experienced in important areas of your life, and to develop coping skills to manage them. Know that whatever your age, gender, orientation, ethnicity, spiritual/religious beliefs, etc, you are welcomed to come, as you are.
