About
"Sometimes we need someone to simply be there, not to fix anything, but to let us feel seen and supported" -Unknown
You may be feeling uncertain or overwhelmed right now, but please know you’re not alone, and you’re in the right place
I’m Arlene, a bilingual Spanish speaking therapist dedicated to helping individuals find relief, clarity, and empowerment through therapy. My approach is warm, authentic, and deeply grounded in compassion and respect. I provide therapy for adults and couples. I strive to create a space where your experiences are honored, your identity is respected, and your needs never feel like “too much.”
In my practice, therapy is a place to exhale. I meet clients where they are, working gently and collaboratively to support healing and growth. My therapeutic style is person-centered and solution-focused, with a foundation in empathy, authenticity, and even a touch of humor when it’s helpful. I aim to foster a supportive environment where you can feel more like yourself again.
As a first-generation Mexican-American therapist, I bring personal insight into the struggles of navigating identity, culture, and the unique challenges of being the “first” in many spaces. I understand how meaningful it is to feel seen and truly understood.
Clients often come to therapy during times of life transition, stress, anxiety, depression, or when healing from trauma. Together, we identify your strengths, explore the root of your challenges, and develop coping strategies to manage symptoms and create meaningful change.
During our initial session, we’ll explore the issues bringing you in, along with your personal and family history, past therapy experiences, and any relevant life events. This helps me understand your current situation so I can tailor your treatment to your needs and values.
I’m straightforward in my approach, and I work with clients to uncover patterns and beliefs that may be standing in the way of growth. If you’re looking for a therapist who “gets it”, we might be a great fit.
Above all, I’m here to help you move from surviving to thriving at your own pace, in your own way.
