About
"Anytime you’re gonna grow, you’re gonna lose something. You’re
losing what you’re hanging onto to keep safe. You’re losing habits that
you’re comfortable with, you’re losing familiarity. That’s a big one,
when you begin to move into the unfamiliar." - James Hillman
Welcome! I provide a safe and welcoming space to explore difficult issues as well as build on your strengths and positive attributes and offer a collaborative approach to achieve your therapy goals. I utilize a variety of interventions and methods to suite your needs including emdr, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based activities, and liberation psychology perspectives for adults and am trained in triple p parenting and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and teens. I also am a first generation arab immigrant and enjoy bringing in this cultural lens with people I work with. Do not hesitate to reach out for a consultation to discuss your concerns and I look forward to working together.
