About

"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are"
-Carl Jung

I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of La Verne. Over the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of working in the social services field, with most of my experience in non-profit organizations, including community mental health and school-based treatment programs.

My approach:
For the past six years, my clinical focus has been on working with children as young as 8 years old, young adults, and families. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals facing challenges such as life balance, academic or work stress, grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am deeply passionate about helping clients navigate these overwhelming issues and find healthier ways to cope and heal.

My focus:
As a therapist, I am compassionate, warm, and direct. I am committed to creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where individuals and families can feel empowered to overcome barriers and live more fulfilling lives. My approach is client-centered and tailored to each person’s unique needs, drawing upon evidence-based practices to effectively treat trauma, depression, and anxiety.

My communication style:

My approach is client-centered and tailored to each person’s unique needs, drawing upon evidence-based practices to effectively treat trauma, depression, and anxiety.

My journey to mental healthcare:
What attracted me to a career as a therapist was my deep interest in helping people navigate life's challenges and improve their mental and emotional well-being. Throughout my career, I've witnessed the profound impact that therapy can have on individuals and families, and I’m driven by the opportunity to be a supportive guide in that healing process. I’m passionate about empowering people to understand themselves better, break free from unhelpful patterns, and develop the tools they need to live more fulfilling lives. Being able to make a positive difference in someone’s life is what continues to inspire and motivate me every day.

My goals for you:
When it comes to goal setting, I work closely with my clients to identify their personal aspirations and challenges, ensuring that goals are realistic, meaningful, and tailored to their unique circumstances. Together, we break down these goals into manageable steps, regularly revisiting and adjusting them as needed to ensure steady progress and maintain motivation throughout the therapeutic process.

My first session with you:
During our first session, you can expect to engage in a welcoming and open conversation where I take the time to understand your unique concerns and goals. We’ll discuss your history, current challenges, and any specific areas you’d like to focus on in therapy. This session is an opportunity for us to build trust and establish a safe, collaborative space where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and emotions. We will also talk about what you hope to achieve in therapy and start to explore the best ways to move forward. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we work together to set a foundation for your therapeutic journey.
