I started out working at a Methadone clinic out of college and earned lots of hands-on experience there for a little over three years. I then moved onto community mental health, where I worked with children with high-risk behaviors for a little over five years, where I gained experience with play therapy, working with the family system, and helping clients find stability again.
After my time in community mental health ended, I became a therapist for a special education school where I gained specialized experience with children on the Autism spectrum, those with severe ADHD, learning disorders, and severe behavior struggles. I’ve been working in private practice with Soultenders going on seven years now, where I specialize in working with all ages, but specifically women and children. I am particularly skilled in working with boundary setting issues, people pleasing tendencies, low self-esteem and difficulty with assertiveness. Mental health issues I am very experienced in working with include: PTSD, depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, BPD, addiction, and Bipolar disorder.

I enjoy the little things in life: a cool breeze on a hot day, a butterfly sighting, laughing with everyone, including clients, and watching how life unfolds in the most unexpected ways.

I live with my son, my 13 year old pug Valentine and my clingy foster dog Moe.
