Juliana Haigh is a neurodivergent, bi-cultural, millennial therapist, focusing on helping clients manage ADHD, anxiety, burnout, and identity challenges.

I have always loved stories. Whether through movies, books, plays, or conversations, I feel drawn to how personal experiences shape who we are. I initially pursued this love through theatre, earning my B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in performance from Cal State Long Beach. I was an actor and a professional stage manager for many years. But there was something missing. I wanted to connect more deeply and serve my community in a different way. I pursued a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. From school-based counseling to community mental health to private practice, I’ve grown as a clinician and as a person. Today, I draw from my creative roots, professional experience, and personal healing journey to support clients in owning their stories, just as I’ve learned to own mine.
My upbringing and life experiences have provided me with a unique perspective to help my clients as they navigate the complexities of identity, belonging, and mental health in today’s world. I am neurodiverse (ADHD) but not diagnosed until I was well into adulthood. I was raised culturally Catholic but I have not attended church services in well over a decade. I am bi-cultural, Mexican and white, and have often struggled to feel fully rooted in either as a white passing descendent of immigrants. All of this allows me to connect deeply with other neurodivergent adults, culturally diverse individuals, and those deconstructing inherited belief systems. I focus on client-centered therapy from an interpersonal neurobiology lens to help clients develop insight, build skills, and have a safe place to explore their experiences.
I am a wife, mother, voracious reader, and lover of The Great British Baking Show, although I do miss Mel and Sue. My music tastes range from Yellowcard to Noah Kahan. I rewatch The Princess Bride every spring, binge Scrubs at least once a year, and my favorite books are The Night Circus and The House of the Spirits.
I make slime with my kid clients at least three times a week, I will curse at least once a session with my adult clients, I hate wearing shoes, and I feel incredibly proud that I get to do this job.
