My ideal client would be motivated, open to change, and they would believe in the therapeutic process. They would be willing to discuss the past, explore how past traumas/familial relationships impact their current situations and struggles, and work towards creating goals and positive changes for the future. I specialize in CBT and EMDR. I can help clients identify cognitive distortions or their “inner critic” and help to provide them with the tools necessary to redirect these negative thoughts that often stand in their way. I can help clients heal from past traumas by utilizing EMDR techniques and meeting the clients where they are at with empathy, compassion, and patience.
