I am a firm believer in the healing nature of conversation. I offer my clients perspectives that are based on keen understanding, mindful awareness as well as thoughtful consideration. What we think truly does impact how we feel and the mechanisms with which we navigate our life experiences.
Life is a journey, but you don’t have to travel it alone.
I look forward to being of service to you.
For many of us, we reach a point in our individual journey where we find ourselves contemplating what it would feel like to experience a pivot. This pivot could potentially reflect a personal, social/relational, physical and/or spiritual one in nature. Although we may recognize and even acknowledge that we are searching for something either more meaningful or more closely aligned with our personal interests and overall vision, we may not (initially) have the ‘tools’ to unlock, unearth and dig layers deep to harness our innate potential to effect change or a significant shift in our life experience.
The essential ‘tools’ that are often missing from our repertoire include skills that promote thinking, perceiving and ultimately experiencing life circumstances differently- all of which are essential, precursory ingredients necessary for pivoting in a distinct direction.
One of my greatest passions is supporting people who want to release personal trauma, heal emotional injury, navigate their (internal and external) experience differently as well as ‘show up’ in the world as powerfully and uniquely expressive as they can imagine. I genuinely enjoy and believe in the art of conversation- whether existing in conversation with someone about how they are currently expressing themselves in the world or interacting with them about techniques that are conducive to them relinquishing past hurt- either way, the rich potential embedded in reciprocal conversation can be forward-moving.
Having been trained in various modalities, there are a few that I specifically utilize to assist people with moving closer to realizing their goals. Examples include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person Centered Therapy as well as Mindfulness.
My educational background includes a Bachelors degree in Psychology (University of Southern California), a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology (Loyola Marymount University) as well as a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant International University). I have been licensed in the state of California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2003.
As a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and a LMFT with two decades of providing extensive clinical and therapeutic support to individuals and families, I take great pride and pleasure in engaging with people from all walks of life. With that said, I excitedly embrace the opportunity to speak with you about YOU.
