About
"Give yourself the same grace you'd offer someone you love."
Hi, I'm Graciela (Grace) Rougier, LCSW —a bilingual, licensed therapist born and raised in Los Angeles. I am a mother, daughter, sister, partner, first-gen, and lifelong learner.
My work is rooted in education as its pillar. I believe understanding why we think, feel, and react the way we do is often the first step toward real change, so I guide my clients with knowledge as much as with compassion.
I also believe healing looks a lot like nature: some seasons are for rest, some for shedding what no longer serves you, some for bloom. None of it happens on a schedule, and none of it happens alone. I bring warmth, honesty, and yes sometimes humor, because laughter has a way of making even the hard stuff feel more bearable.
As a licensed clinician, I bring training and certification in a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, IPT, MAP, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy so I can meet each client where they are and tailor our work together rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I also have experience supporting clients through high levels of acuity, including suicidal ideation.
Above all the training and credentials, what I bring first is a humanistic approach the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with genuine presence, not just protocol.
