Janis Torre

My ideal client is someone who is open and motivated for help. I have been working as a therapist in a variety of settings for the past 30 plus years. I believe we all really just want to have peace and harmony in our relationships both with others and with ourselves. Today's society brings about alot of stress and my hope is to help others find some relief. I have extensive experience in working with those suffering from depression and anxiety. I enjoy helping others who are having relationship problems of all kinds. I like to teach how to set limits and boundaries with others and use assertive communication. I love working with people and helping them achieve their goals. I use unconditional positive regard and focus on using one’s strengths to bring about the change they are wanting to see. I can be directive and goal based when that is what is wanted and needed. I can also provide supportive feedback in helping one bring about the change they are wanting. I want to help others obtain happiness, peace and harmony in their lives.
