About

"The language we use becomes our mental habits- and our habits determine how we learn, how we grow, what we become."
- Maria Konnikova

In our session, we will explore your story using your language. We collaborate to understand the impacts of that story and make necessary changes to cultivate an authentic life based on your individual values. Finding the words to our experiences is often all we need to get started.

The desire to turn away from worries and fears is a natural human reaction. However, suffering happens when we cannot find our exit and the thought of adding therapy on top of it all can feel even more daunting.

I believe that understanding our individual patterns is essential for simplifying our problems. When we incorporate awareness and insight into patterns of our thought processes, emotions, and behaviors, we utilize our strengths and resources to re-claim our control and freedom.

I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, body image issues, self-esteem issues, adjustment issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, self-identity, career, and relationships challenges. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, families, individuals and groups in partial hospitalizations, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.
