About
“Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain.” ? Vivian Greene
People aren’t meant to be put in boxes! We are each beautifully unique. My approach and interaction with you will reflect that value. Your difference will be warmly embraced.
My goal is collaboration. I will truly listen and learn about your specific and individual needs, strengths, goals, and challenges. From a holistic perspective, I will use my professional training to assist you in reaching your potential, achieving happiness, and overcoming life’s challenges.
The way we think impacts the way we experience the world, our level of happiness, and our ultimate fulfillment in life. During our time together I’ll help you develop, adjust, or improve your ability to positively impact any experience you have. You’ll learn new skills to navigate in any setting. You can achieve the change you seek. We are not meant to suffer. We are meant to thrive.
I am a licensed clinical social worker. I obtained my BA in psychology and social behavior from UC Irvine and my MSW from USC. My training includes, but is not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization & Processing), crisis intervention, problem solving, solution focused, and ACT. I’ve worked in various settings such as in-patient, outpatient, IMD, community mental health, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and school based programs. My experience includes work with adolescents, adults, and older adults(65+). I’ve provided both individual and group therapy.
Are you struggling? Seeking answers? Want to reduce your suffering? I’d like to help.
I look forward to your call and I’d be happy to answer additional questions.
