Arakel Aristakessian

My name is Arakel Aristakessian and I am a first generation American of Armenian immigrants. There is never a lack of drama in my family and over time, I learned the importance of navigating cultural expectations and family dynamics with empathy and awareness. These experiences shaped my belief that each person’s story is deeply influenced by the communities and traditions they come from.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with extensive experience in the mental health field, supporting clients from various backgrounds. My work has ranged across academic settings, community mental health sites, and rehabilitation clinics. I am fluent in Spanish and Armenian, which allows me to connect more meaningfully with individuals from various walks of life.
