My style in therapy is about connecting, supporting, and honoring who you are. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist. I have over 20 years of experience in mental health and helping organizations. The value in each of us is infinite, and tapping into our inner wisdom essential. I create a safe nonjudgmental space with the intention to strengthen intuition, heal stuck patterns, find solutions, thrive and feel better. I approach therapy with unconditional empathy, understanding the struggles and challenges that can diminish our lives. I have clinical experience with clients from a variety of different backgrounds, ages, experiences, and reasons for seeking help.
I use a variety of evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian and Jungian approaches, Ecopsychology, Expressive Arts Therapy, mindfulness/meditation, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I have worked in private practice, clinical, school, residential treatment, outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, and community mental health settings. I am a graduate from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a Masters in Counseling Psychology specializing in Expressive Arts Therapy, and have a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from the University of California in Santa Cruz.
I am a member of CAMFT (California Marriage and Family Therapists), IEATA (International Expressive Arts Therapy Association) and WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health).
“Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt—marvelous illusion!–that I had a beehive here inside my heart. And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures.”

My intention is to join you on your journey towards more peace, balance, happiness and a more fulfilling life.
I provide a holistic and client centered approach by establishing a supportive and safe environment to work collaboratively with my clients. In the current uncertain times of COVID, many of us are experiencing increased anxiety among other stressors. I am passionate about building a relationship with my clients that promotes safety and have found that in a nurturing environment, growth can develop organically and bring about positive change. Together we will uncover your inner strengths and explore the obstacles that limit your ability to access your authentic and best self. We will work towards a better understanding of how your past experiences influence current challenges and work on shifting thought patterns that perpetuate negative emotions. In therapy, I will provide you with a nonjudgmental space where we can establish goals and work towards a more enriched life by achieving these goals step by step. I will work with you to create an individualized treatment plan that fits your needs and may include techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused.
I have worked in a variety of settings such as outpatient programs for substance use, residential treatment centers, non profit organizations, and a psychiatric hospital. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples and families experiencing various life stressors, relational problems, anxiety, depression, transitions, trauma, personal growth challenges etc. My overarching mission is to help clients reach their goals and work towards healing.
I graduated from Utah Valley University with a B.S in Behavioral Science, emphasis in Psychology. I continued my education and completed a Masters of Art in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University. I am licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (LMFT #119366) and a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
